With CADQC, it takes less than a minute per drawing to insure they meet the rules you specify.
Before CADQC, many people manually “spot checked” a few drawings for standards compliance since it was too time consuming to check every new and revised drawing by hand. Others created customized AutoLISP routines and manually created script files every time they needed to check a set of drawings. This worked, but only their more advanced (and costly) CAD personnel could check drawings. With CADQC, the CAD Supervisor writes the rules once and requires the CAD operator to furnish a CADQC report that verifies that the drawing file(s) meets the CAD standard. The CAD operator quickly learns from fixing their own errors and becomes more efficient and valuable at the same time.
How long does it take to check files for compliance?
One hour to manually check a file with errors. Corrected files must be rechecked.
Thirty minutes with customized AutoLISP® and Script files. (Normally only some elements are checked.)
One minute or less with CADQC!
